Ayebaiduanyo Doumokuma Obuala: A Journey of Creativity, Tech, and Entrepreneurship
Ayebaiduanyo Doumokuma Obuala is a Nigerian creative entrepreneur, filmmaker, and technology enthusiast. He is the Co-founder of The Immovable Race, a registered non-governmental organization promoting resilience, unity, and empowerment. Obuala has also worked as an actor and producer in Nollywood and is involved in entrepreneurship, branding, and digital innovation.
Early life and education
Obuala was born in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Nigeria. He attended Ebisam Nursery and Primary School in Akenfa, Yenagoa, and later studied at Shalom International College for his secondary education.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Niger Delta University. He also obtained a Diploma in Movie Production and Film/TV Business from the Del-York Creative Academy in Lagos. Obuala is a graduate of the ALX Africa program, a scholarship initiative by the Mastercard Foundation.
Career
Film and creative industry
Obuala began his career in Nollywood as both an actor and producer. He has collaborated with several industry veterans, including Segun Arinze, Fred Amata, Jide Kosoko, Uche Montana, Junior Pope, Rugged Man, and Femi Duro Ajayi and many more. His experience spans film production logistics, acting, and creative storytelling.
Entrepreneurship
Outside film, Obuala has worked in various capacities, including as a social media manager at Royalty Resale Hub and an inventory manager at Slice Lagos in victoria island, lagos.
He later ventured into entrepreneurship, offering services in branding, company registration, content creation, and business proposals, website development and others.
Obuala is the founder of D & A DYNASTY, a registered construction company named after him and his father.
NGO work
In 2023, Obuala and Hon. Awotonghe Daniel Ofongo founded and The Immovable Race, a non-governmental organization established to promote empowerment, unity, and community resilience.
Interests
Obuala is a technology enthusiast with interests in artificial intelligence, robotics, and animation. Outside his professional work, he is an advocate of fitness and wellness, a learner of chess, and an avid reader of philosophical and esoteric texts.
Personal life
Obuala has expressed his long-term ambition to become a billionaire by the age of 40 through ventures that combine creativity, technology, and social impact.
